This day’s phone has become our one of the most important gadgets or better I say an essential need for every people, from a 13-year kid to 70-year-old man. But sometimes we want to get rid of all this right? But never found a way for this. So, in this article, we will be discussing how to reduce your phone usage from my personal experience. Let’s start from the beginning

READING:

A book can be your best friend if you are reading with your full concentration. Books always help you to reduce stress level. A good 1hour book reading a day is enough for you to get rid of your phone. When you would feel like an urge for using your mobile phone then you can always go for reading. You can always take a book in your backpack before going anywhere.

HANGING OUT WITH FAMILY AND FRIEND:

A book can be your best friend but hanging out with your best friend is a different filling. This day’s phone is slowly breaking the bond of your family and friends. If you can manage to put your phone aside and go for your old relationship then that can help you a lot.

MEDITATION:

Meditation is really important for your body to stay fit and live a long life. A 30 min meditation after waking up from sleep can help you to lead a long healthy life and say no to unimportant phone usage. Meditation helps you to stay focus on your work and it’ll also help you to reduce phone usage.

PLAY OUTDOOR AND INDOOR GAMES RATHER THAN VIDEO GAMES:

If you are a professional E-sport gamer then playing Videogames might be your key to earn money but if you are someone who is not professional in it but you are addicted to it then it might be the time to leave your addiction aside. Try going out of the house and play outdoor games with your friend. It can help you to get out of video game addiction.

USING INBUILT FOCUS MODE IN PHONE:

Smartphone brands this day showing their concern about phone addiction so, they are providing us with the software to get rid of addiction. you can use the inbuilt software to check your whole day phone usage and can set a timer to the most used apps or you can set focus or Zen mode to stop using your phone for a while.

JOURNAL OR DIARY WRITING:

We always use our phone before going to sleep at night. Instead of using your phone, you can always write a journal. It’ll also help you to write down everything about your day and help you to keep memories about the day. And make you stay out of the phone.

FOCUS ON JOB OR STUDY:

If you are a student or a service person then you should focus on your study or your job. It can keep you distracted from your phone using.
